JobFit AI is a Chrome extension that helps users compare their resume with LinkedIn and Indeed job postings using AI to generate a match score, identify matching and missing skills, and create a tailored recruiter pitch.

Information We Collect

JobFit AI may process the following information:

• Resume text provided by the user.
• SambaNova API key provided by the user.
• Job posting content (such as job title, company name, and job description) from supported websites.

How We Use Information

The collected information is used solely to:

• Analyze the compatibility between a resume and a job posting.
• Generate an AI-powered match score.
• Identify matching and missing skills.
• Generate a personalized recruiter pitch.

Data Storage

The user’s resume and SambaNova API key are stored locally using Chrome’s storage API. They remain on the user’s device unless required for AI analysis.

Third-Party Services

When the user requests an analysis, the resume text and the current job posting are securely sent to the SambaNova API to generate AI results. No other third parties receive this information.

Data Sharing

JobFit AI does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties except as necessary to provide the AI analysis through SambaNova.

Security

Reasonable measures are taken to protect user information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
